Meridian Beach
Located at Gull Lake Alberta, just north of Sylvan Lake, this development was conceived by Norval and Nora Horner. There is a series of canals taken off the lake to allow water frontage to most of the cottages and yet retain the actual lakefront as a natural beach area. Harvey and Kim were brought on as consultants for the architectural aspects that included writing Architectural Guidelines for all cottage construction and checking of drawings for compliance on new projects as well as working with the clients on the several new bridges.
Norval is still developing new lots and creating depth with amenities such as pavilions, water side restaurants and adding a general store to this amazingly refined cottage development. Information about Meridian Beach and future developments and inquiries can be found at meridianbeach.ca
